DONE!!!

I completed my site over the past couple of days; uploading my audio, show, and video projects. The audio & show projects were completed over the weekend. I added in my own guitar playing as background music. It took a lot less time than I though; probably, two hours total for both projects. The video project came together well. I edited together footage provided by Melody, posted it on YouTube, and then embedded the link on my "Video" page. Ready for the final class tonight and then my semester is done!

Final Week

I'm ready to log-on for a live session for the first time in probably 6 weeks. Looking forward to catching up on everything that I've missed. I've been planning my audio & video projects out and will be taking care of those shortly. Not much left to do in the semester and I'm looking forward to the Xmas break.

Gay Vampires & Thanksgiving

Working on finishing up a short about gay vampires for a buddy of mine. I hope to have the rough cut finished by tomorrow. I'm reffing hockey games (9 to be exact) through the weekend and will be spending my down time catching up on the last two weeks' lectures and getting to work on my radio show project.

Another Long Weekend Ahead

I have three games this weekend against Utah Valley, Texas Tech, and Northern Arizona, so as has been the case lately it will be unlikely I will get much done. My FLASH trial runs out soon though, so I plan to do some work this later this weekend to finish up that page at the very least.

FLASH forward

In Utah right now with the hockey team. We won our first game last night and will hopefully have similar results tonight and tomorrow. Almost done with the FLASH page. Having a few issues with the bouncing ball's shadow (trying to get the shadow proportional to the ball). Next up is the video project. Need to connect with my two groupmates. Hope to do that next week and get the project going.

Still Catching Up

After spending last weekend in San Diego with the hockey team, I finally will have a weekend to catch up and do some work on my site. I plan to listen to all the lectures I've missed and do major updates to my site by the end of the weekend. Stay tuned!

Catching Up

Trying to catch up by listening to the last two lectures. Haven't had the time or the software to proceed until today. I'll be all caught up with everything by the end of this weekend. I'm excited to learn about the FLASH stuff you guys have been talking about over the past couple of weeks. That area of emphasis was the main reason why I wanted to take this course.

SWAMPED!

I am soooooooo swamped right now with work, hockey, and school activities. We have two games this weekend against UNLV, so prepping for those is taking up a lot of my time. I have a trip for work on Friday to UC-Davis and UC-Berkeley and normal work activities are taking up a lot of time. And then I have my two classes, including this one. I am trying to finish a script to submit to Cinequest by tomorrow and have yet to listen to the class session from last week (which I would have participated in live but I was still downloading FLASH while the session was taking place. Looks like I'm going to have to miss this week's class period and catch up over the weekend. :(

Downloading FLASH

Downloading FLASH now. It's going to take about 90 minutes total. I'm going to work on my ad banner and flash graphics this weekend. Really busy with two big rivalry games against USC, but I'll try and get everything done.

No Time to Do Anything!

With tomorrow being the opening night of the hockey team's season, I haven't had much time to make updates to my site. I've really been struggling to find time to work on the site and haven't been able to connect with my group members. I'm hoping tonight's in-class meeting will allow me to make progress on both fronts.

Cleaning Up

I'm working to clean up the site and flesh out the pages. Uploaded the Links site, which I completed last week, but for some reason didn't upload. I plan to set up skeleton versions of the pages and then add more goodies later (especially after we go over the FLASH) section. I'll be heading up to Tahoe this weekend with the hockey team to get ready for opening night one week from Friday!

Working on Assignment #2

I'm hard at work on assignment #2. Hopefully, I'll be able to get the index and links pages completed by Thursday night. Not too difficult an assignment; just time-consuming.

In other news, the hockey team had its first practice of the season this afternoon. The rookies looked tentative, but promising. Season starts on the 25th!
